Gallagher Re has appointed Emilie Desormeaux as Executive Director, where she will be based in Paris, France.
She joins from reinsurance giant Swiss Re where she worked at for over 14 years.
During her tenure at Swiss Re, Desormeaux served as a Casualty Underwriter and Client Manager for the French market.
Prior to Swiss Re, Desormeaux served as an Actuary at XL Re Europe where she was in charge of quotation motor and general liability treaty for a variety of different countries.
Desormeaux’s appointment follows Gallagher Re’s recent hire of Alexandre Delacroix, who was named executive director within it’s the company’s EMEA West & South team.
Additionally, Gallagher Re also recently appointed industry veteran Kelli Morash as Executive Vice-President in North America.
