Cayman islands-based reinsurer Topsail Re has announced the appointment of Justin Jordan as Director of Corporate Finance.
Jordan joins the reinsurer following over two years at Heritage Life Insurance Company, where he most recently served as Assistant Director of Accounting. During his tenure at Heritage, he focused on financial reporting and accounting operations for domestic and international insurance subsidiaries.
Prior to Heritage, he worked in public accounting as an auditor and consultant within the Insurance practice at Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), now FORVIS, where he held a number of roles.
Jordan is a licensed certified public accountant in North Carolina. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Forensic Accounting from Guilford College, and a M.S. in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

The hire of Jordan as Director of Corporate Finance follows the appointment of Trina Gooch as Topsail Re’s Director of Client Services this month. Back in September, the company welcomed Carol Sorenson as Vice President of Analytics and Michael Swartz as Vice President (VP) of Underwriting.
