UK domiciled managing general underwriter (MGU), Bluefin Underwriting, has announced that it has rebranded as Victor Insurance, following the global unification and rebrand of Schinnerer Group to Victor Insurance, announced earlier in 2018.

Victor Insurance logoAccording to an announcement on the rebranding, Victor Insurance is the largest MGU in the world, and provides insurance solutions to an expanding base of UK-based small and medium-sized organisations, through its digital platforms and regional underwriting units.

The five specialist underwriting teams have a focus in agriculture, third sector, financial lines, small and medium enterprises, and also transportation risks.

Paul Drake, President, Victor International and Victor Insurance in the UK, said: “This is an exciting and transformational time for our UK MGU. Although we have been working with Victor colleagues across the world for some time now, operating under a unified global brand will enable us to deliver an enhanced service.

“There is a lot more to come from Victor in the UK in the MGU space. By developing new and relevant products in our specialist markets, and embracing systems that drive efficiency, our goal is to bring innovations that meet the evolving buying and trading trends of our brokers and customers.”
