LexisNexis Risk Solutions becomes associate member of BIBA

27th April 2023 - Author: Kane Wells

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a data, advanced analytics and technology provider for insurance, has become an associate of the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA).

BIBA is a UK general insurance intermediary organisation representing the interests of insurance brokers, intermediaries and their customers.

The organisation’s CEO, Steve White, commented, “Brokers continually evolve in the way they service their customers and data can be a key ally in how they do this – keeping ahead of the curve.

“We are therefore delighted LexisNexis Risk Solutions has joined BIBA as an associate.”

LexisNexis Risk Solutions states that it serves data into over 220 million insurance quotes a day, across motor, home and commercial lines of business.

The firm utilises data resources, data technology, linking and analytics to help all types of insurance providers assess risk and tackle industry-specific problems, from quote manipulation to predicting policy cancellations.

James Burton, managing director, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Insurance, UK and Ireland, said, “Becoming an Associate Member of BIBA underlines our commitment to giving the broking community the insights they need to make more informed decisions for their customers and their insurance partners.

“The range of data solutions we have developed, including those like Broker Intelligence, which is specifically designed for small and medium-sized brokers, is evidence of this commitment.

“Data enrichment solutions like Broker Intelligence help brokers to compete more effectively, work more efficiently and enhance the service they offer.

“We look forward to working with BIBA to help members take advantage of data enrichment solutions, whatever size business they may be.”

Burton was appointed managing director earlier this month, replacing Jeffrey Skelton, who is set to take up a new role leading ICIS, a brand of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of RELX.
