Liberty Mutual Reinsurance, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Sara Steiner to the role of US Specialty Casualty Treaty Manager.
Steiner brings over 18 years of insurance experience to her new role, almost three of them at LM Re’s having joined the company in 2020 as Vice President and Director of Assumed Reinsurance.
Prior to LM Re, she spent over four years at RenaissanceRe, where she started as AVP Casualty Treaty Underwriting before being appointed Vice President Underwriting.
Steiner joined RenaissanceRe after having worked at Guy Carpenter for almost ten years,where she held several roles. These include Risk Analyst, AVP Treaty Broking, VP Strategic Advisory, SVP Treaty Broking.
Liberty Mutual insurance has also recently appointed Chantal Rodriguez as Liberty Mutual Reinsurance Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), and Crystal Ottaviano as GRS Chief Risk Officer.
