The London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA) has named Sarah Peppiatt and Steve Williams as the new chairs for two of its committees.
Both committees are actively involved in modernisation initiatives that aim to make London an easier place to do business, particularly in regard to Placing Platform Limited (PPL), data standards, and data submission.
Peppiatt will take over the chair of Binders, Offslips and Lineslips Team (BOLT) from Rod Joyce of Ed Broking, who chaired the group for four years. She currently serves as Delegated Authority Director at Capsicum Delegated Authority.
Williams will become chair of the Broker Placing and Electronic Development group (BPED), taking over from Richard Clifford of Miller, who chaired the group for more than five years. Williams currently serves as Head of Digital at JLT Specialty.
LIIBA says that both Clifford and Joyce will continue to support the Association and participate in various committees.
Christopher Croft, Chief Executive of LIIBA, said: “We’re very pleased that Sarah and Steve have agreed to take on these important roles. Both of these committees are heavily involved in the modernisation of the London market so it is vital they continue to progress with their work.
“I’d also like to thank Rod and Richard for the exceptional jobs they’ve done over the last few years. It’s good to know they’ll continue to play an active part in the life of LIIBA.”
