LMA announces new and re-elected Board members

The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has elected four candidates to its Board as members, as well as confirming that the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of Beazley, Neil Maidment, will remain as Chairman of the LMA.

Lloyd's Market Association logoFollowing the recent nomination process and effective from the AGM on May 31st, 2018, the LMA has announced the appointment of one new and three re-appointed Board members.

The newly appointed member is David Croom-Johnson, Managing Director, Aegis Managing Agency Ltd. While re-elected members include Stephen Eccles, CUO, Argo Managing Agency Ltd, Richard Harries, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Atrium Underwriters Ltd, and Matthew Shaw, President, Chubb Global Markets.

All four will serve a term of three years, and the LMA also stated that Beazley CUO Maidment will continue to serve as Chairman of the LMA.

The LMA has also revealed that with claims modernisation currently being a top priority for the LMA, it has co-opted Hannah Purves, Claims Director at Markel and Deputy Chair of the LMA Claims Committee, to the Board.
