Global reinsurance broker Lockton Re has announced the additions of Simon Moore and James Boon to its Non-Marine Retrocession and Property Specialty division in London.
Moore joins the firm as a Senior Broker with almost 30 years of experience in both London and Bermuda across underwriting and broking.
He started his career at Lloyd’s before joining Aon in 2002 as a Loss Modelling Analyst and Account Manager for North American Property Treaty.
After Aon, Moore spent time with Gallagher Re in London and Bermuda, subsequently becoming a Broker at Aon Benfield in Bermuda.
In 2015, he joined Markel CATCO as a Senior Underwriter and most recently served as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of CATCO’s Investment Management on the island.
Boon also joins as a Senior Broker, most recently serving as a Reinsurance Broker at Aon with a focus on Property Retrocession and Cat/Risk on D&F. He also has experience of underwriting from his time with Arch and CNA Hardy.
