Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Olivier Reiz to the role of General Manager Insurance, France.
Based in Paris, Reiz will be responsible for leading the LSM team in the country, delivering excellent service standards and driving growth for LSM’s insurance business in the region.
He will report to Kadidja Sinz, President of Europe & MENA for LSM, who commented: “We are delighted to welcome Olivier to our French team. His wide-ranging experience in the European insurance market will help us to provide excellent service to our clients and brokers and further strengthen our ability to deliver our growth targets.
“We are determined to fortify our position as a leading provider of specialty insurance products in France. Olivier’s expertise will help us achieve just that.”
Reiz has 25 years of experience in the European insurance market and has held roles in sales, distribution, marketing, and actuarial.
He joins LSM from Chubb, where he held several roles during his over-14-years tenure. His most recent position at the P&C insurer was Director of Strategic Growth for continental Europe.
Prior to Chubb he was a Pricing Actuary at Gjensidige in Norway. Additionally, Reiz has also held roles at EY and Odyssee Re.
