Marsh has appointed Sue Woolterton to the newly created position of Head of Specialities, to be based in the firm’s second largest UK office in Norwich.
Woolterton, who has been with Marsh since 1987, will now be responsible for developing Marsh’s UK Specialties Division, which covers its marine, energy, aviation, construction, real estate, financial lines, and international wholesale placement business.
She will report to Paul Moody, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Marsh’s UK Specialties Division, who commented: “Sue has extensive experience in leading the development and placement of innovative insurance programmes that help protect our clients from the increasingly complex range of risks they now face.
“Under Sue’s leadership, our Specialties Division in Norwich will continue to deliver the outstanding service our UK and international clients deserve.”
Woolterton has already served in Marsh’s Norwich office since 2002, where she was most recently Head of the Financial and Professional (FINPRO) Practice’s Portfolio Placement Group, and oversaw the regional office network.
