MS Amlin Insurance SE has announced the appointments of Norbert Herkströter as Chief Operations Officer and Jan Vande Weghe as Property and Casualty Country Manager for Belgium.
Herkströtermost recently served as Chief Information Officer at Delft University of Technology.
Prior to this, he held a variety of senior roles at Aegon, NIBC and ABN AMRO.
Weghe brings more than 20 years’ experience in the P&C market to MS AISE.
He joins from Baloise, where he was Director – Non-Life Commercial and Marine.
He has also worked at ING Insurance and P&V/Vivium, gaining a strong network within the Belgian market and a proven track record in developing go-to-market strategies.
Both will take up their role on September 1st, 2021 and will report to CEO Ludovic Senecaut.
