Specialty Lloyd’s of London managing general agent (MGA) Occam Underwriting has announced the appointments of Daniel Carr to the Board of Directors of the Company and Mark Fisher as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Carr has been with Occam since 2015 and will also continue in his role as Head of Innovation and Cyber Insurance.
He previously served as a Principal Consultant at BAE Systems and as an Engineer at the Ministry of Defence, combining a strong technical background with risk management and insurance knowledge.
Fisher joins Occam from Ironshore, a Liberty Mutual company, where he most recently served as Director and Head of International Finance.
He has 20 years’ experience working with both insurance carriers and MGA operations, and has previously held senior roles at CNA Insurance, including as European Financial Controller.
