Global multi-line insurer, Zurich Insurance,, has appointed Paolo Mantero as its new Group Head of Reinsurance, who is transitioning to the role from his most recent position as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Mantero, who brings a wealth of strategic depth and financial acumen to the role, has held several leadership positions since joining Zurich, including Global CFO of Commercial Insurance, and Head of Group CEO Office.
His internal trajectory reflects a deep understanding of the company’s global operations and financial structures.
Before joining Zurich, Mantero spent two years at global insurer Assicurazioni Generali, where he served as Head of Strategic Projects Steering Unit, and was then appointed Strategic assistant to GCEO.
The executive’s extensive background also includes tenures at HgCapital, Investitori Associati, Jupiter Finance, and McKinsey.
