Probitas 1492, an underwriting Syndicate at Lloyd’s of London has appointed former Munich Re Syndicate Limited, Senior Cyber Underwriter – Richard Taylor, to Head of Cyber & Technology.
Within his new role at Probitas 1492, Taylor brings over 13 years of experience within the industry.
During his time at Munich Re Syndicate Limited, Taylor was involved in underwriting cyber risks for first and third party damages across most industries, which includes energy, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, finance, and IT/technology services.
Prior to Munich Re, Taylor served as a Broker at SGM-FX.
Meanwhile, Probitas 1492 recently announced the opening of Probitas 1492 (Europe) to underwrite business in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Furthermore, in August 2021, changes within the management of Probitas 1492 were announced, as the management of the Syndicate was transferred from Capita Managing Agency, to Probitas Managing Agency Limited (PMA).
