The Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) has promoted Scott Williamson to Senior Vice President.
Williamson is currently the Director of Analytics and is responsible for the Association’s interactive data models and analytics that quantify and communicate the impact of various state and federal regulatory and legislative proposals on the re/insurance industry.
As Director, he assists in the development of public policy for issues impacting the P&C industry.
Williamson is also responsible for several statistical reports published by the RAA, including the Casualty and Catastrophe Loss Development Studies, Reinsurance Quarterly Reports, Reinsurance Underwriting Review, and Offshore Reinsurance in the US Market.
Frank Nutter, president of the RAA, commented: “Scott’s contributions to the RAA and its advocacy initiatives cannot be overstated. He is without peer in the development of interactive data models and analytics and is highly respected by our members as well as other industry trade organisations, and public officials who engage with his analytics.”
