Reinsurance Association of America has elected Justin O’Keefe chair, Jim Williamson vice chair and Jon Colello secretary-treasurer of the board.
O’Keefe is the Senior VP and Chief Underwriting Officer for North America and Bermuda at RenaissanceRe. He leads market engagement and deal execution for all business lines in these regions. Justin has been with RenaissanceRe since 2004, serving in various senior underwriting roles.
O’Keefe also sits on the Board of Directors of Top Layer Reinsurance Ltd., DaVinci Reinsurance Ltd., and Vermeer Reinsurance Ltd.
Williamson is the Executive VP, Group COO, and Head of Reinsurance Division at Everest Re Group. He oversees underwriting excellence, digital transformation, innovation, efficiency, and data analytics capabilities for the Group, as well as leads the Company’s reinsurance division.
Before joining Everest, Williamson served as Division President of North America Small Business at Chubb and held several senior executive roles at Chubb. Prior to Chubb, he held senior roles at The Hartford.
Colello is the CEO of P&C Americas at PartnerRe and a member of its Executive Leadership Team. He is responsible for leading the Property & Casualty business in the US, Canada, and Latin America, and the Health business in the US.
With 21 years of reinsurance experience, he previously served as President North America at AXIS Re, overseeing underwriting platforms in Bermuda, Canada, and the US and was a member of the Reinsurance Leadership Team. Jon held several leadership positions within AXIS Re since joining the company in 2004, the organisation noted.
