Roanoke International Brokers has launched a specialist reinsurance brokerage business in Dubai under Roanoke MENA, which offers a bespoke service for products and clients across the Middle East, and will be led out of Dubai by new SEO, David Howells.
Howells joins from the Dubai operation of London-headquartered Besso Limited, where he was Chief Executive Officer/Senior Executive Officer, spearheading the business’ operations in the Middle East.
He holds over 10 years of experience in the re/insurance industry, and will be driving the establishment and growth of the company, which will be exclusively focused on reinsurance business and will provide tailored reinsurance solutions and support to professional clients and market counterparties.
While Roanoke MENA will focus predominantly on cedants within the MENA region, the team will also be looking to develop relationships with cedants and producers of business in both the Indian Subcontinent and the Southeast Asian markets.
