Re/insurance broker Besso has announced the appointment of Shreyaa Vohra to the role of Managing Director of Besso Re Middle East.
In her new role, based in Dubai, she will be responsible for developing the company’s facultative portfolio, predominantly across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.
Prior to joining Besso, Vohra spent over a year at EC3 Brokers, in the Dubai International Financial Centre, as Senior Executive Officer.
Before EC3 Brokers she held several roles at Oman Insurance Company – now Sukoon Insurance – where she joined in 2019. She spent two and a half years heading up the Facultative Outward division across all lines of business.
Vohra also spent eight years placing International Property & Power business into the Lloyd’s Market at Guy Carpenter London, specialising in the Asia Pacific, LATAM & EMEA regions before moving to Dubai and joining Sukoon.
