Reinsurance brokerage, risk and capital strategic advisory firm TigerRisk Partners LLC has announced the appointment of David Unsworth as a Senior Broker.
Wade Gulbransen, the firm’s Global Head of Reinsurance, noted that Unsworth is regarded as one of the foremost experts on reinsurance solutions for the Florida market and that he will bring “market knowledge, analytics and expertise to the next level for our clients.”
Before joining TigerRisk, Unsworth served as a senior vice president at JLT Re.
He began his insurance industry career as an account representative at Minet Ltd., in London.
From there he joined RK Carvill as a vice president and was later posted to Carvill America in Atlanta. He then became a senior vice president at Guy Carpenter’s Tampa office.
Commenting on his appointment, Unsworth said, “I’m excited about joining TigerRisk and building on its already robust presence in Florida.”
