Tysers adds Deloitte’s Clive Buesnel as CEO

Tysers, the specialty London-based wholesale broker, has named Clive Buesnel, previously of Deloitte, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), subject to regulatory approval.

Clive BuesnelHe has spent the large majority of his career in operational and strategic positions in the UK and global insurance markets, most recently serving as a Senior Partner, Vice Chairman and Head of UK Insurance at Deloitte.

Previously, he worked at Xchanging for a decade, where he was a founding member and Executive Director of the Insurance operation.

Buesnel will join an executive team based in London with 1,100 employees, including both Tysers and RFIB, operating in over 10 regions across the globe with a focus on delivering creative insurance products for clients with complex and specialty risks.

Commenting on his new role, Buesnel said: “This is a really interesting time in the global insurance industry, especially in the London Market with the current market dynamics and the change we will see over the next few years.
