WTW has appointed Timothy Pratt as director of actuarial property and casualty in its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business.
According to a statement from the firm, Pratt will be responsible for leading project teams focused on designing and implementing client reserving solutions. He will also play a key role in marketing the growth of this practice area by leading and supporting client project teams in a client relationship management capacity.
Katey Walker, ICT North America P&C sales and practice leader at WTW, said: “Tim’s industry knowledge and his reserving and ResQ expertise make him an excellent addition to our team. He brings an innovative perspective to the role, and I am confident that he will bring significant value in regards to further developing product offerings, increasing market visibility, and delivering specialty expertise to clients and colleagues.”
WTW said that Pratt joins WTW with more than 36 years of experience in the insurance industry, all within the actuarial space. His experience includes senior actuarial roles at Liberty Mutual and Deloitte Consulting, where he served as senior manager of actuarial, risk, and analytics.
Pratt is not the only new addition to WTW and its ICT businesses in recent weeks. In April, the firm announced that Giovanni Smyth had joined as regional leader for ICT in North and Latin America. And the previous month saw it appoint Tammy Richardson as Europe Regional Leader in the ICT business.
