XL Catlin has appointed Stefan Homberger as Head of Multinational Casualty Insurance in the U.S and promoted Arielle Moody to team lead for its U.S Eastern Region Multinational Casualty group.
Homberger has worked at XL Catlin for 20 years, having most recently served as Underwriting Manager for Multinational Casualty Programs.
Commenting on his appointment, Joe Tocco, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of XL Catlin’s North America Insurance, said: During his tenure at XL Catlin, Stefan has been instrumental in helping us become one of the world’s Top 3 global programs markets.

Based in New York, Moody joined XL in 2013 as a Multinational Casualty Underwriter, before which she served at ACE Group, first as a Multinational Account Service Manager & Account Specialist and later as an Underwriter Liaison for Foreign Casualty Complex Accounts.
Tocco added: “Arielle steps into this new leadership role as one of our most talented underwriters. She was recently recognized as an insurance industry rising star and will be leading her team in solving complex risk management challenges for our clients and brokers in the Eastern continental U.S.”
