Insurance and reinsurance brokerage BMS Group has named Alex Orloff as Director of Capital Markets Analytics at BMS Capital Advisory, the firm’s investment banking unit.
In this role, Orloff will report to Romulo Braga, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMS Capital Advisory, effective immediately.
He will be tasked with leading the development of the company’s qualitative investment diligence and quantitative market analytics for private and public issuers and institutional investors.
Orloff is the previous founder of Sybella Research, described as a pioneer in investment research coverage of private issuers in the insurance space. Before Sybella, he held numerous different executive roles as a senior analyst and portfolio manager in asset management and sell-side research firms, including the likes of Twelve Capital, DLG, and Credit Suisse.
