Alliant Insurance Services, the specialty insurance brokerage firm, has announced that Doug Bixby has joined the company as Senior Vice President.
In this role, Bixby will focus on providing management professional lines including product liability and clinical trials liability within the Healthcare, Life Sciences and FinTech sectors.
Bixby started his career at AIG, spending 10 years underwriting executive liability and transactional risk products before transitioning into a broker role.
Prior to joining Alliant, Bixby served as Executive Vice President at the world’s fourth largest insurance brokerage where he specialised in servicing companies in a variety of industries including life sciences, technology, financial institutions, private equity, venture capital and media.
Bixby also spent 15 years with William Gallaher Associates, where he was instrumental in the growth of the New York and New Jersey offices until its acquisition in 2015.
