Zurich Insurance Group has announced that Amanda Blanc, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, has resigned.
Blanc joined the company just nine months ago in October 2018, having previously served as CEO for AXA UK & Ireland.
While at Zurich, she also a member of the Group’s Executive Committee and had additional responsibility for Global Banking Partnerships.
The insurer said that it would announce a successor to Blanc “in due course.”
“We appreciate Amanda’s contributions during her time with us, in particular as we drive innovation throughout the business and introduce an enhanced culture of service for our customers,” said Mario Greco, Group CEO at Zurich.
“Our business in EMEA is performing well under the strong leadership of our Country CEOs,” he added.
