Aon, a global professional services firm, has appointed Johannes Glasl in a newly created role of Chief Regions & Client Officer, effective July 1st, 2026.
In his new role, Glasl will further drive the development of the broker’s regional positioning – especially in the North and East regions.
The newly created role aims to further strengthen Aon’s proximity to its customers. Glasl as a member of the Executive Leadership Team in Germany will help shape the business’ strategic development.
Glasl has over three decades of experience in the insurance and finance industry and has held leadership positions at MPC Capital, Howden, and Marsh.
The broker explained that he is already very familiar with the company, having already been a part of it for 16 years.
Aon in a statement said, “Together with the regions and departments, he will further strengthen our customer orientation and expand growth areas such as retail, logistics, renewables and real estate in a targeted manner. Welcome back, dear Johannes!”
