Bermuda-based life and annuity reinsurance company, Aspida Life Re has appointed Sheetal Chhiba as Deputy Chief Risk Officer.
Chhiba has over ten years of insurance experience across Bermuda, the UK, and South Africa. Having consulted in Bermuda previously, she will bring specialised expertise to the risk function of Aspida Re.
Before joining the Aspida team, she served as the Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Enhanzed Re. Chhiba has also held various senior positions at Ernst & Young – Bermuda, where she held the Advisory Manager position for over two years; Prudential PLC, and Deloitte, where she focused on risk management, financial and Bermuda regulatory reporting, and audit.
