AXA XL appoints AIG’s Jason Hawkins to manage regional D&O business

AXA XL, the property & casualty and specialty risk division of global re/insurer AXA, has announced the addition of Jason Hawkins as Senior Vice President, Regional Head of Professional in New York, effective January 1st, 2021.

handshakeHawkins has joined the company to lead its regional D&O operation, working closely with both brokers and clients throughout New York and the surrounding area.

He joins from AIG, where he most recently served as Head of Retail Distribution.

Previously, Hawkins served as managing director of Marsh’s FINPRO Group, where he addressed the professional liability insurance needs of commercial businesses, notably private equity firms, hedge fund, investment portfolio and financial institutions, among other financial services.

He brings over 30 years of D&O underwriting management and brokerage experience to AXA XL’s Professional team.
