Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has promoted Cathy Miller to the role of head of North America property alongside a host of new promotions within the same team
In her new role, said the firm, Miller will oversee the insurer’s general property, energy, builder’s risk and marine business in the US and Canada. She was previously global property underwriting officer.
The firm said in a statement that it has promoted Greg Freeman to the role of US retail leader for general property, Mark Lees to global property underwriting officer, Scott Johnson to head of retail general property for the US eastern region, Alison McVeigh to the role of head of retail general property for the US northeast region, and Manny Dewani to the role of head of retail general property for the US western region.
