Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) has announced the appointment of Kevin Hovi to its board of directors.
Hovi currently serves as president and Chief Financial Officer of Kuvare Life Re.
Before that he was CFO at Longitude Re, as well as senior vice-president, senior portfolio manager at XL Catlin.
Commenting on his appointment, Hovi said, “I’m excited to represent Kuvare among such a strong group of senior life industry professionals on the BILTIR Board and look forward to supporting the continued growth of the Bermuda life insurance and reinsurance sector.”
“Kevin’s financial markets background and Bermuda insurance experience will serve as a valuable asset to the BILTIR Board,” added BILTIR Chair Sylvia Oliveira.
“He has been a solid contributor on various BILTIR committees over the years. We look forward to working with Kevin on the challenges and opportunities currently facing Bermuda’s life re/insurance sector.”
