Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) has appointed Hannah Ross to its Board of Directors.
Ross currently serves as Chief Strategy and Capital Officer at multi-line insurance and financial services company – The Argus Group, where she leads a team covering group actuarial and risk, capital and finance, and strategic performance delivery.
A fellow of the Institute of Actuaries UK, Ross has worked at Argus since 2010, and previously held actuarial roles in London with Synesis Life, KPMG and Pension Insurance Corporation.
Ross also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics, from the University of Sheffield.
Ross commented: “I am delighted to join the BILTIR board. I look forward to working with the BILTIR directors, in particular as we navigate key Bermuda-based issues relating to the Economy, Social and Corporate Governance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
The company represents 66 life re/insurance businesses and serving companies in Bermuda, which employs more than 600 people on the island.
