State-backed French reinsurer, CCR Re, has announced the additions of Yamilet Morote and Mehdi Tariq within its Underwriting and Services Division.
Morote joins the company as Credit Underwriter Guarantor within the Specialties & Global Risks Department teams belonging to its Underwriting and Services Division.
Since 2016, Morote has held the role of Senior Surety Underwriter at QBE Insurance Group. Prior to this, she worked as a senior Credit Analyst at Caterpillar Financial, before joining credit insurer CESCE in Madrid in 2009 as a Credit Analyst Guarantor.
She started her career in Peru in 1996 as a Junior Credit Analyst at Banex Bank. From 2002, Morote held roles in the Treasury Department of Sofax Bank, at PSA Peugeot Citroën, and later at GR Transportation as Credit Manager.
Tariq joins the reinsurer as Actuary Underwriter in the Life business line within the company’s Underwriting and Services Division. His career started with French reinsurer SCOR in the R&D team in Medical Substandard Risks, prior to joining Forsides Consulting as a Junior Consulting Actuary.
