Odyssey Reinsurance Company (OdysseyRe), the property and casualty reinsurance arm of Odyssey Group Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, has appointed Chris Moore as Vice President (VP), Senior Property Underwriter.
Moore returns to the reinsurer after spending the last two years as a Senior Director of Reinsurance for The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.
He has more than 18 years of industry experience, having joined Odyssey Re in 2008 as a Senior Underwriting Associate.
Moore was later promoted to VP of OdysseyRe in 2020, a role he held for four years.
OdysseyRe commented on the appointment, “Chris had previously served on the property underwriter team in various roles with increasing responsibility from 2008 to 2024.
