DUAL North America has announced three key leadership hires.
The firm has promoted Jim Jinhong to head of Capacity and Product Development, D.J. Postles joined as Executive Vice President of Underwriting for NBIS, and John Kopach joined as Executive Vice President of Excess Liability.
In his role as DUAL Head of Capacity and Product Development, Jinhong will be responsible for strategically deploying partner capacity and creating new products to adapt to the changing market.
Previously, Jinhong was the Executive VP of Underwriting & Business Development at NBIS, where he led program diversification through organic growth for 20 years.
“Jim has led NBIS through an impressive period of growth and diversity, building creative coverage lines and driving underwriting profit for our market partners,” said Bill Tepe, President of NBIS.
Postles, the new EVP of Underwriting at NBIS, will lead the underwriting team. He has over 22 years of underwriting and leadership experience with major and mid-sized carriers in North America, such as Chubb, Swiss Re, and Hiscox.
Postles brings expertise in corporate insurance, association leadership, and property and casualty underwriting. Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships with brokers and prioritized profitable growth, efficiency, innovation, and customer success. Postles reports to NBIS President Bill Tepe and is based in Atlanta, GA.
“D.J. has a dynamic background of insurance leadership roles, he will have the opportunity to lead a diverse team of underwriters and drive best-in- class customer service to our clients,” Tepe said.
Kopach has joined DUAL’s team to assist Mike Towell, the President of Excess Liability, in expanding the company’s excess liability product in the East and Southeast.
With over 20 years of experience, Kopach previously held positions such as Senior VP of Excess Casualty for AXA XL and Senior VP/VP for Swiss Re Financial Corporate Solutions and Everest National Insurance Company. Kopach is based in Atlanta, GA.
