Global, specialty reinsurance brokerage Ed has announced the addition of Robert Coward as Divisional Director in its Professional and Executive Risk team.
The appointment of Coward, a qualified corporate lawyer, is effective immediately, and in his new role he reports to Niraj Perera, Head of Transactional Risk.
It’s expected that his legal expertise will provide Ed with invaluable support in providing solutions for M&A deals, including warranty and indemnity, tax liability, and contingent liability.
Coward joins Ed from leading law firm Travers Smith, where he served as an associate working in the private equity team. Previously, he worked at McDermott Will & Emery as an associate, where he specialised in corporate M&A.
