Fintech firm Certua launches Enterprise Insurance platform

Financial technology firm Certua has announced the launch of its Enterprise Insurance platform, which will allow companies to access its full service platform via API.

certua-logoCertua’s offering allows companies to get new insurance products to market quicker and enables insurers and reinsurers to access new digital markets by removing technological barriers to entry.

Sherpa, an InsurTech company focused on personal risk management, will be the first distribution partner to leverage Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform, in a collaboration with reinsurer Gen Re and manufacturer Scottish Friendly.

The Enterprise Insurance platform provides rates, recommendations, underwriting and claims rule-sets, along with compliant documentation and digital payment methods, as part of an end-to-end solution that efficiently links clients, distributors and underwriters, Certua explained.

By configuring and vending products via Enterprise API, distribution partners can easily integrate new insurance propositions into their own existing user journey.

“Our aim is to support innovative businesses like Sherpa get to market quickly by leveraging our technical infrastructure, allowing manufacturers to access new markets, and end-customers to receive modern propositions, fundamentally in markets that are currently underserved,” said Tom Williams, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Certua.
