Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has named Alex Ntelekos as a Regional Director in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in London.
Effective immediately, Ntelekos takes on responsibility for supporting the growth of the broker’s public-private initiatives across the EMEA region and will provide regulatory, capital management, and climate insight and expertise.
He will report into Alkis Tsimaratos, Managing Director, Head of EMEA West & South and will also work with Dirk Spenner, Managing Director, across his EMEA North & East region.
Ntelekos brings over 11 years of regulatory experience to the role. Previously, he worked as a senior manager, insurance supervision, at the UK’s Prudential Regulatory authority (PRA). Earlier in his career, he spent time as a catastrophe risk analyst at Willis Re.
