GC’s Laurent Rousseau joins Cytora’s global advisory board

Cytora, the digital risk processing platform, has bolstered its global advisory board with the addition of industry veteran Laurent Rousseau, Guy Carpenter CEO of EMEA and Global Capital Solutions (part of Marsh McLennan).

laureent-rousseau-scor-ceoA renowned figure across the sector, Rousseau joined Guy Carpenter in June 2023, following a near 13-year tenure at French reinsurer SCOR, where he previously served as CEO following leadership roles across property and casualty (P&C) re/insurance, including a stint as Deputy-CEO of Global P&C overseeing Specialty Insurance.

Before he joined SCOR, Rousseau was in JP Morgan’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group in London from 2005 to 2010, where he was a Financial Institutions specialist.

Cytora’s advisory board group consists of a variety of renowned leaders across the Commercial and Specialty insurance sector, including: Bronek Masojada, Chair of SiriusPoint and formerly CEO of Hiscox, Kelly Lyles, board member at Convex and Howden Group, Jeffrey Hayman, Chair of R&Q Insurance Holdings and former board member of Zurich Insurance Group, Emmanuel Clarke, Chair BMS and former CEO of PartnerRe, as well as many more.
