Les Loh has been appointed as the CEO of Southeast Asia & Korea by Guy Carpenter. The role will be based out of Singapore.
Loh’s remit in this position will include leading a talented and motivated team with trust and supporting them in fulfilling the client’s and partners’ needs.
Loh joined Guy Carpenter about ten months ago as the Deputy CEO of Southeast Asia & Korea for the P&C Treaty.
Loh is a market veteran and has spent more than 13 years at AXIS Capital most recently serving as the President for Asia Pacific for 4 years from June 2018 to 2022.
Other senior positions that Loh has held at Axis Capital include serving as the Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer for Asia Pacific and Property Cat Underwriter for Asia Pacific prior to that.
Loh started his career at Benfield as a Senior Broker in 2002 and spent 7 years at the company.
