Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance arm of global brokerage Marsh, has named Jeffrey Livingston as Global Head of Sales, effective September 1st, 2020, reporting to Peter Hearn, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Guy Carpenter.
In this newly established position, Livingston takes responsibility for leading all of the reinsurance broker’s sales activities, and will be tasked with developing commercial strategies designed to help clients realise their business growth ambitions. Additionally, he will join the Guy Carpenter Executive Committee.
He brings almost three decades of industry experience to the new role, having operated extensively in the broking space and across both the insurance and reinsurance segments. He joins from rival brokerage Willis Re, where he served as Vice Chair, North America. Prior to Willis Re, Livingston served as Director of Portfolio Solutions at Marsh.
Previously, he has held senior roles with Willis Re after starting his career in the industry with Sedgwick Re.
