Primary commercial specialist HDI Global SE has promoted Paul Williams to Head of Underwriting UK, Corporate Risk.
Williams has been promoted to this Manchester, England-based position from his previous role as Head of UK Corporate, North and Scotland, following the retirement of Kevin Armstrong.
He will be responsible for the continuing growth of the corporate risk portfolio out of four regional hubs; Manchester, Birmingham, London and Glasgow.
Williams will also have a broader regional engagement in the South of England.
“Paul has been instrumental in the development of our corporate risk portfolio, so he is ideally placed to take this business line forward,” said Claire McDonald, Managing Director of HDI’s UK and Ireland operations.
“His appointment reflects our long-term commitment to the UK regions.”
