HDI Global Specialty bolsters Management Liability, FI team with Neon hires

HDI Global Specialty SE, the collaborative specialty insurance venture between HDI Global and Hannover Re, has added Louise Parker and Charles Boorman to its Management Liability & Financial Institutions team.

HDI Global logoBoth join the specialty lines insurer’s London office from Neon Syndicate 2468 with immediate effect.

Parker joins as Senior Underwriter Management Liability & Financial Institutions and specialises in non-US domiciled financial institutions and commercial management liability business.

Prior to Neon, Parker spent ten years at Arch and four years at Goldman Sachs as a Financial Analyst.

Boorman joins as Head of Management Liability & Financial Institutions, having held the same role at Neon.

He has previously held similar roles at Probitas Syndicate 1492 and QBE Europe, as well as senior broking roles at Aon.

“These are testing times for the industry and the country as a whole, so to be able to continue to build upon our talent pool and expand the business at a time like this is testament to our disciplined underwriting approach and robust business model,” said Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK Managing Director.

“Both Louise and Charles bring with them a wealth of underwriting expertise that will no doubt add to our performance and continued resilience.”
