Hive Underwriting, the holding company of Hive Aero Limited, has appointed Christine Dandridge, ACII to its board as a non-executive director.
Dandridge will be joining Hive with immediate effect and brings over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, beginning her career in 1978.
She was one of the founding members of Atrium Underwriting in 1984, the active underwriter of Syndicate 609 between 1997 to 2007, served on numerous market committees and was a member of the Council of Lloyd’s from 2004 to 2007.
Since then, Dandridge has held a number of non-executive directorships and is currently a director of Managing Agency Partners.
Dandridge commented: “I have enjoyed watching the development of Hive from its inception in 2017. The team has built an excellent model and a platform to use as a springboard for growth and I look forward to helping the business develop and expand at this opportune time in the cycle.”
