Brazilian reinsurer IRB Brasil Re has announced the appointment of Cesar Cavalcante as direct advisor of the CEO and chairperson of the reinsurer’s Board of Administration, Antônio Cássio dos Santos.
Cavalcante brings more than 40 years in the insurance and reinsurance market.
He has worked in projects at large companies in the sector, such as Liberty, Porto Seguro, Mapfre and the groups Sulamérica, Allianz/RAS and Arbi, either as executive or as advisor.
“His role is going to be important as a key executive. He has substantial living in management, technical, insurance marketing and especially corporate strategy areas,” said Cássio.
“He comes to join efforts, and he will contribute very much to our administration.”
