Jerome Swinscoe takes over as President of Tokio Marine HCC – Credit Group

Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) has announced that Jerome Swinscoe will take over as President of Tokio Marine HCC – Credit Group, as current President Mark Reynolds transitions into a new role as Chairman.

Tokio Marine HCCBoth appointments will be effective as of January 1, 2021.

Swinscoe currently serves as Chief Underwriting Officer of Tokio Marine HCC – Credit Group, a position he has held since 2017.

He joined the group as Senior Underwriter in 2007, before which he was an underwriter at Catlin Group Ltd., having begun his insurance career with Marsh in France.

“Over the 15 years since its establishment, the Tokio Marine HCC – Credit Group has developed into one of the premier providers of trade credit and political risk insurance,” said Reynolds.

“Jerome has been a driving force in our development, and I am very pleased that he will be succeeding me as President.  I look forward to continuing to work with him and the rest of the team as Chairman,” said Mr. Reynolds.
