Johan Slabbert, the Chief Executive Officer of MSIG Holdings (U.S.A.), Inc., is set to depart from his role to pursue new opportunities.
Effective immediately, Takehisa Chiba, the Chairman of MSIG Holdings (U.S.A.), Inc., will step into the role of Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer to facilitate a seamless transition.
Chiba will hold both positions for the time being, the company said.
Slabbert’s departure comes after a period of dedicated service to MSIG, during which he played a pivotal role in guiding MSIG North America through a time of significant change.
“We thank Johan for his strong commitment, hard work and dedication to our people, customers and business and wish him every success in the future,” the company said.
Slabbert was appointed CEO of MSIG Holdings U.S.A in October 2022.
