Lancashire Group has made a raft of hires and appointments.
The firm said in a LinkedIn post that it had hired Angus Roberts to be its new head of airline, while Francis Lobo has been appointed as head of engineering.
The news of Roberts’s hire first broke a few months ago and it is understood that he is moving to Lancashire from his role at Chubb as senior aviation underwriter.
And according to his LinkedIn profile, Lobo comes to the firm after nearly three-and-a-half years at Convex where he was head of engineering for energy. He also held similar roles at Canopius, XL Catlin, and Berkley Offshore.
Other new hires to the company include Ashima Jain, James Rackham, Maisie Sareen, and Ryan Kinsella, undertaking the roles of underwriting assistants; and Matthew Rowley and Ben Brown, who join in the respective roles of database developer and data architect.
Meanwhile, Lancashire said it had appointed Herbert Kerr to be its new exposure management manager.
