Re/insurance broker Lockton has appointed David Spence as an account executive at its Aberdeen office.
Spence joins with over 16 years’ experience, having spent over a decade at Carmichael & Partners prior to their acquisition by PIB Insurance Brokers in 2016.
Following this, he was responsible for the servicing of existing clients and business development.
“Having worked for the majority of my working life in privately owned businesses, I was drawn to Lockton and the fact that they are uncommonly independent,” said Spence.
“This appealed to me a great deal and I believe it will enable me to flourish in the next stage of my career. Lockton’s pan-European and global operations provide an excellent way for me to grow and support my existing network.”
Based in Aberdeen, Spence will focus on growing the business across a wide range of sectors including Oil and Gas/Energy, Transportation, Construction and Real Estate, Engineering and Food and Drink.
