Tim Payne and Michael Morgan have been recruited by Marsh to be its respective UK chairman of its FINPRO practice and the head of professional liability.
Based in London, the two men will report to current UK CEO of FINPRO business Beth Thurston.
Payne has over 35 years’ industry experience and was previously head of professional liability, UK FINPRO. In this role, he advised global engineering clients on their risk exposures and insurance placement strategies.
Payne began his career at Bowring Professional Indemnity and has extensive experience working with major UK and international firms.
Morgan succeeds Payne as head of professional liability, UK FINPRO. Previously head of global professions, Morgan advises global law firms, consultants, and accountants on their professional risks. Morgan has over 30 years’ experience across financial lines, reinsurance, and captive management, and has been with Marsh since 2003.
There has been a raft of recent changes with Marsh’s FINPRO Specialty. Back in December, the firm said it was making a number of senior leadership appointments. These included Thurston, along with Stephanie Manson who became UK management liability leader, and Paul Denny who was appointed as global specialty head.
