Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broker and risk advisor, has announced the appointment of Mez Patel as Head of Global Sales for Aon Credit Solutions.
In his new role, Patel will help global multinational clients address complex risk challenges.
He will be responsible for designing innovative, structured solutions across trade credit, political risk, contingent liability, and surety.
Patel brings two decades of experience in trade credit insurance and strategic sales leadership, with expertise in structuring and underwriting bespoke solutions for SMEs, mid-market firms, and multinationals.
He joins Aon after nearly 19 years at Allianz, where he held a number of senior leadership roles, including New Business Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts (Broker Channel), Regional Sales Manager (South) – UK & Ireland, and most recently as Regional Sales Director – Allianz Trade for Multinationals.
